I had to return them all the manufacturer for replacements. They were ALL missing the little switch for changing the channels so you can use more than one at once, which was the whole point of buying them.I didn't have time to order them from elsewhere in time for the trip. Very peeved. I ordered 3 of these cameras (to complete a set of 4 for a very special trip). Got them a couple days before the trip only to find EVERY SINGLE ONE was defective.
The NightHawk cameras are very compatible with add on cameras but needs abetter view at night with blurry video operation.Just add a Swann SW-P-HGA Wireless Network Booster to the Reciever unit.
However, the user manual is worthless. Defeats the convenience feature, doesn't it. I don't plan to make movies with it.
It uses the same 2.4 GHz band as home routers. It could possibly interrupt your neighbor's as well. Swann said there is no solution, buy a wired system.
The video quality is adequate for what it's for. Laptops put next to the access point can't find a signal. This must go for any other wireless system.I gave this product a low score because of the wireless network problem.
I like being able to see the front and back of my house. The biggest drawback is that the wireless cameras totally knock out my wireless home network.
The wireless signal is ok, it's the image quality that is as poor as it gets. Works very poorly when it's bright out. This camera is worthless. Night vision is almost non-existent it's a joke. This camera is worth no more than $20. It's not worth the price. They all look the same and sell under different brands.
This camera dose not work with any other Swann Night Hawk camera this was no good to me.
